This position reports to the Program Director.
Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for infants.
- Develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum that supports infants' cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and execute daily activities and lessons.
- Observe and assess individual infants' progress and provide appropriate feedback to parents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of each infant's growth, development, and daily activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and address any concerns or questions.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom, including sanitizing toys, equipment, and surfaces.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and training as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred).
- Proven experience working with infants or young children.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with infants.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with early childhood education standards and regulations.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Salary Range: $15 to $18 per hour, commensurate with experience.
