This position requires a passion for accuracy, strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks and effectively communicate with various levels of the organization.
Would you like to be a part of our team? If so, as our experienced Accounting Specialist you will:
Process invoices for payment to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions.
Maintain timely and accurate renewals for license and permit requirements.
Maintain and establish positive relationships between company and vendor accounts.
Assist accounting department leadership to resolve issues as needed.
Serve as a backup for both guest relations credit card disputes & the reconciliation of multiple daily sales reports.

Headquartered in North Kansas City, Kellan Restaurant Management has been a family-owned business for 30 years, operating the 54th Street Grill & Bar and 54th Street Restaurant & Drafthouse restaurants.
We have 30 units (and growing) in 4 states.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, or commensurate job experience with a proven track record of success
EXPERIENCE:
2-4 years of experience in a position with skilled technical knowledge in accounting systems.
Experience processing Accounts Payable in a paperless office environment.
Experience in Microsoft Excel
Experience using Net Suite (preferred but not required)
SKILLS:
Excellent oral and written communication skills at various levels of an organization
Ability to achieve progress on multiple tasks while exhibiting high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Ability to use analytical skills to evaluate outcomes for accuracy
CHARACTERISTICS:
Possess self-motivation, initiative, attention to detail, organization, documentation, and follow through.
