1997 SATURN SL1 four-door sedan $1300 cash or best offer I've owned this car for 23 years, and it's the best car I've ever had: always reliable, never seeing a mechanic except for its regular oil change.
Now it's showing its age.
The biggest problem is the right rear tailing arm - it's broken at the spindle on the back right wheel.
The other end mounts to the body of the car, but the broken end is suspended over the roadway, thumping the car when you go over bumps.
And the underside of the car has some rust, making welding tricky.
Other issues, from a garage inspection: -oil cap doesn't fit tightly -two hub caps are missing -front right tire has a tire plug in the sidewall -driver mirror is damaged -driver window doesn't roll down and is misaligned in the door -catalytic converter missing - exhaust repaired with wrong size pipe -brake lines rusty where they mount to body of car -brake fluid very dark 4 cyl, 1.
