Nursery Attendant

Qualifications a.
Attendant must be at least 16 years old and able to lift 20 pounds.
b.
Attendant must participate in the Child Protection Class taught by the church.
2.
Duties a.
Care for all children registered and dropped off in the nursery.
b.
Register all children to be cared for when dropped off, along with contact information for parent/s.
Collect and log all supplies from the parents and log any special needs or comfort requirements for the child.
c.
Prepare room for any activity to be provided for that day.
d.
Change diapers and assist with toileting as needed e.
Clean and sanitize all toys interacted with by the children at the end of the shift.
f.
If a crib is used, remove the sheet and put it in the laundry basket for washing.
Wipe down the crib with sanitizing wipes.
g.
Provide first aid as needed and report all injuries to supervisor and to parent.
h.
When time permits, deeper cleaning and sorting of room, toys and equipment will be performed for the Nursery.
i.
Adhere to all employee policies and procedures.
3.
Availability a.
Work schedule is Sundays, 9am-12pm unless otherwise scheduled beforehand.
Special events and worship may also be scheduled outside of this time as employee is available.
4.
Benefits a.
$10/hr.
b.
Guaranteed three hours minimum each week when scheduled for weekly Sunday services.
