Attitude is the difference between failure and success! *Job Description* Premier Last Mile is currently in need of an experienced Dispatcher to assist with overseeing the daily operations of white glove delivery of furniture and appliances.
*Responsibilities:* * Provide assistance by telephone to customers, contractors and delivery agents.
* Provide excellent customer service at all times.
* Handling customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
* Communicates with clients and customers when necessary to advise them of delays and or updates.
* Processes changes or cancellations to delivery orders.
* Proactively monitors progress of delivery routes.
* Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
*Qualifications:* * Strong customer service skills; ability to diffuse client frustrations.
* Ability to communicate in a professional/courteous manner.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Clear and concise verbal and written communications skills.
Bilingual person is strongly desired but not required.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Ability to work in and handle stressful situations & high volume of phone calls.
* Experience working with personal computers and business applications is required.
* One year experience in a customer service environment is strongly desired.
* Must be able to multitask * High school diploma or GED is required.
*Skills* * Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position * Tech-savvy with working knowledge of MS Office applications * Proficient in English (oral and written) (+Spanish is a plus) * Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities * Active listener with excellent communication skills * Sound judgement and critical thinking We conduct pre-employment drug screens and background checks.
