The Strategic Marketing & Client Services Manager reports to the Vice President of Client Services and collaborates with senior strategists to ensure data-driven, strategy-first implementation of market strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads and Manages Select Client Relationships
As the primary point of contact for assigned clients, serve as a healthcare marketing subject matter expert and collaborate with the firm’s strategists to advise clients on effective marketing and positioning strategies and supporting tactical plans.
Supports Marketing and Positioning Strategies (MAPS)
Support the development and implement strategic marketing and positioning plans for healthcare organizations.
Collect and incorporate consumer research and competitive intelligence from health data analyst and analyze market data to guide differentiation and positioning strategies for the client.
Manages Timely and On-Budget Execution of Marketing Projects
Ensure client objectives and goals are effectively incorporated into the firm’s content and creative development process.
Implement client marketing plans on a daily basis, collaborating with internal teams to develop and assess creative concepts, implement campaigns, track campaign ROI, and measure/monitor client budgets, job profitability and defined key performance indicators.
Professional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required: related field, Marketing Communications preferred
4-5 years of experience in healthcare marketing, communications and strategy required, preferably hospital experience
Or, 4-5 years of experience in a marketing firm or advertising agency serving healthcare/hospital clients
Strong critical thinking, strategic planning, complex problem-solving skills
Extensive knowledge of the strategic marketing planning process
Well-organized, detail-oriented and capable of producing professional results within tight deadlines
Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment while taking initiative to lead client relationships
Confident and highly engaged with the fundamentals of health marketing, branding and advertising
Special Skills Required
Strong critical thinking, strategic planning, complex problem-solving skills
Proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies and tactical plans for hospitals and healthcare clients
Extensive knowledge of the strategic marketing planning process
Ability to review and analyze a variety of data to develop marketing and positioning recommendations

Strong people skills, and the ability to contribute strategic ideas to and communicate effectively and professionally with clients
