Code Ninjas in Lenexa is looking for coding tutors to join our team.
Part Time Up to 20-30 hours/week.

In our center, kids ages 7-14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way – by playing and building video games they love.
Kids have a blast and can’t wait to come back.

*Position: Coding Tutor/Instructor (Code Sensei)*
\*Do you enjoy teaching and working with kids? \*Do you have experience with basic coding? \*Do you like playing video games?

*Responsibilities include:*
\*Learn and teach Code Ninjas’ game curriculum \*Work with children (aka Ninjas) on their belt curriculum \*Create a positive, safe, and fun environment in which student can grow \*Assist with Day Camps, Parent Night Outs, Birthday Parties, and Summer Camps \*Develop/modify STEM activities to support belt and camp curriculum \*Follow opening/closing and cleaning duties daily
*Qualifications*
\*Experience working with children ages 7 and up (1 year – Required) \*Computer programming experience (1 year – Required) \*Enthusiastic about working with kids; mentoring and teaching \*Patient, kind, and understanding \*Works well with others; collaborates and takes pride in their work \*Upbeat and fun individual with a passion for technology and learning \*Knowledgeable about coding and technology \*Some experience in Robotics, Minecraft, Scratch or Roblox
*Working days:*
DURING SCHOOL YEAR: \*Mondays \*Tuesdays\*Thursdays\*Saturday
SUMMER TIME: Mondays-Friday & Saturday.

* 8pm
