Beware of Scammer - Kenny Smith (Kansas City)

Hi All, We need your help.
This man below Kenny Smith has stolen $3k from my husband and I for a fence we were going to have installed.
We thought we picked a great guy who gave us a fair price.
He then got appendicitis which just followed up with excuse after excuse for delay.
We were gracious and gave him time.
Once we realized something was no longer right we asked for our money back which he agreed.
Days later he ghosts us then proceeds to say the money is non-refundable and he won’t send it back.
We paid half for him to order supplies then pay the other half to complete (which we never do!!! 😑) and he never provided any order receipt.
This guy is a legitimate scammer and we are blowing up his life.
There’s only so much we can do in these situations but we are taking every legal course we can as well as getting the news involved.
This is a big scam that is going around with independent contractors.
I’ve never had an issue but this guy has given IC’s a bad name.
