I have many years in the Automotive field, With that stated when you have a problem with the Auto parts stores not wanting to turn Brake drums or rotors because they think that they are under spec! Make them look at the min that is stamped in the part' Then get the Gauge out and mike it.
Or if you just don't want to deal with them! Contact me, I can just look at them and tell you if it is to thin to turn.
Most of the time they just need the high spots turned for a smooth pad or shoe contact.
"NOTE YOU MUST PULL ALL GREASE SEALS AND BEARINGS OUT AND BRING ONLY THE DRUMS OR ROTORS" I will have this service available April 6,24 starting that Sat, BY Appointment Only, You drop them off, And I will contact you when they are ready for pickup.
