Dinner and Conversation? (Tuesday 11/28) (Warrensburg)

Traveling on Tuesday to Whiteman AFB for work, staying in the Warrensburg area.
I know there has to be some good places, especially local or unique places.
Educated professional, mid-40's.
Can carry a conversation and very easy going.
Going out to dinner alone is no fun.
Going out to dinner alone in a town that you don't know well is even worse.
