Litigation Attorney

Norris Keplinger Hicks & Welder is hiring a litigation attorney licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas.
This person will be immediately exposed to, and trained to handle, all aspects of civil litigation in high-profile cases.
This person will work on cases ranging from medical malpractice, long-term healthcare, education law, personal injury, and complex construction and commercial disputes.

Responsibilities will include, among other things: * Handling all aspects of discovery, including client interviews, conducting depositions of witnesses and experts, and preparing and responding to written discovery.
* Drafting case evaluations to clients.
* Research and drafting briefs.
* Court appearances.
* Evaluating cases to meet the needs of the firm and the client.
* Trial.
We have multiple trials every year.
* Travel is required for depositions and trial.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $75,000.
