Job Summary: Brown & Crouppen has an immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal to work in conjunction with an attorney to effectively manage high volume, top-tiered cases while providing top excellent to our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ordering and reviewing police reports, supplemental reports, medical records, insurance policies, etc.
Investigation using Westlaw, REJIS, social media, etc.
Preparing pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, affidavits, medical chronologies, and other litigation support documents.
Managing attorney’s calendar and court deadlines
Preparation of settlement distributions and allocations
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in personal injury preferred.
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to handle competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Required Education:
Associates Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
