Probate Clerk

```PROBATE CLERK: The Platte County MO Circuit Court has an opening for a Probate Clerk position.
This position is required to perform a number of clerical duties relating to the processing of Probate documents and courtroom work.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: · Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
· Applicants should have a basic understanding of operating standard office equipment and a basic knowledge of court procedures and policies, legal documents, laws and legal factors.
· Applicants MUST be able to pay attention to detail, have the ability to maintain a variety of complex records and prepare reports from records.
· Applications should be able to interact with litigants, attorneys and the public in a professional and courteous manner.
· Applicants must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
EDUCATION: Graduation from high school and two years of general clerical experience.
Education above the minimum stated may be submitted on a year for year basis for the required general experience.
