Contracts Attorney
Location: Lakewood, NJ or Kansas City, Missouri
Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Attorney.
This will be a full-time, in-office position, and can be based out of Kansas City, MO or at our world headquarters located in Lakewood, NJ.

What You Will Accomplish Here… Our Legal Department handles complex and unique legal issues for internal and external parties for our global business.
As a Contracts Attorney, you will work in conjunction with in-house or outside counsel to support day-to-day business operations, including drafting and reviewing contracts, utilizing internal controls for compliance, and assisting with legal research in a fast-paced environment.
This position will focus on the following: • Effectively manages contract administration policies, systems, and procedures.
• Ensures contracts are vetted through the required corporate reviews and approvals process.
• Drafts, reviews, evaluates, and negotiates business agreements.
• Drafts and revises correspondence and other legal documents.
• Assists with the processing and management of change orders, statements of work, and contract amendments.
• Assists with the drafting of policies and procedures for the Company and its affiliates.
• Assists in addressing legal, regulatory, and compliance issues.
• Assists with compliance monitoring for the Legal Department or other business units, as requested.
• Assists with performing legal research and drafting memoranda, as needed.
• Assists with reporting department metrics.
• Completes additional related assignments, as requested.

Education, Experience and Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in reviewing contracts or in a related position is required.
• Must be a member of a State Bar.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to professional services, licensing agreements, NDAs, and other business agreements/documents with clients, vendors, and third parties.
• Business, technology, or gaming background is a plus.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and LinkSquares is a plus.
• Must have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Must have demonstrated professionalism, including while working under pressure.
• Must have the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines, while maintaining a realistic balance among priorities.
• Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
• Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
