The Legal Process Specialist supports processing of third party legal documents that are served on the company, such as subpoenas, garnishments, and tax levies.
This person is accountable for following the state or federal laws that govern third party legal actions coming into the department.
How you will spend your time:
Process legal requests with no errors to ensure compliance and prevent litigation risk to the bank.
Communicate with various agencies and customers regarding the legal requests being processed.

You have an Associate Degree and 2 years experience in financial services or legal industry OR
You have 5 years experience in banking OR
You have 5 years experience in financial services or legal industry
You demonstrates ability to communicate clearly with coworkers, managers, business partners, and outside clients
You demonstrates proficiency in written and verbal communication skills
You demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and ability to track deadlines and other time limits
You demonstrates general knowledge in Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Word, and Outlook
You demonstrates strong attention to detail
You demonstrates strong time management skills
You demonstrates ability to perform job functions with numerous interruptions
You demonstrates expert customer service skills
You demonstrates ability to work effectively in a team environment
You demonstrates ability to read and understand basic statutes, regulations, and legal documents (i.
e.
garnishments, tax levies, etc.
)
Bonus points if:
You have a Bachelor’s degree
You have 2 years Bank Operations experience
You have legal processing experience
Compensation Range:
Minimum: $40,950.
00 - Mid Point: $54,600.
