Key responsibilities of a _*Compliance and Internal Audit Manager:*_
*Compliance Management:*
* Ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies, with a focus on the taxi and transportation industry.
* Monitor and evaluate the company's compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Keep updated on legal and regulatory changes impacting the company.
*Internal Auditing:*
* Perform regular internal audits on controls, financial systems, and risk management strategies.
* Audit current contracts to ensure compliance with terms and legal requirements.
* Report audit findings and suggest improvements.
* Work with management to address and rectify weaknesses.
*Risk Assessment:*
* Identify areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
* Develop action plans to resolve issues.
* Guide on avoiding or managing similar situations in the future.
*Contract and RFP Analysis:*
* Review and audit existing contracts for compliance and risk factors.
* Assess new RFPs to determine suitability and compliance from a contractual perspective.
* Provide insights and recommendations on whether to bid on specific RFPs.
*Training and Development:*
* Develop and conduct training programs on compliance and ethical conduct.
* Update staff on regulatory changes and industry practices.
*Stakeholder Communication:*
* Communicate findings and compliance issues to the CFO, CRO, and senior management.
* Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
Qualifications of a Compliance and Internal Audit Manager:
* Proven experience in compliance, auditing, or a related field.
* Knowledge of the taxi industry's regulatory environment is preferred.
* Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Capability to work independently and manage complex projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.
00 - $70,000.
