The Legal Assistant is a member of the legal department and collaborates with the legal team to assist with day-to-day administrative support.
This resource is personable and professional with strong project & time management skills who coordinates the various tasks of the legal team with efficiency and the utmost confidentiality.
RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned
Manage incoming and outgoing mail
Process legal invoices for payment
Coordinate onboarding of legal suppliers
Manage travel and expenses for the legal team
Maintain the Legal intranet site
Schedule meetings
Provide copies of customer files as requested by internal stakeholders
Maintain customer contract access permissions
Maintain the QTS driver database
Maintain electronic documents in the Legal department and/or the companies document repository
Facilitates onboarding of new Legal team members
Perform other general administrative support duties, including DocuSign, photocopying, uploading and coordinating mailings
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Two or more years of professional experience in an administrative or paralegal field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s Degree or further education
Kansas Notary Certification

Hands-on, self-starter who is disciplined and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting that requires a highly accurate and timely work product
Excellent listening, written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills
Excels in a team-oriented work environment
Strong work ethic and accountability to deadlines
Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving business environment
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, One Drive, Outlook, and Excel)
Excellent time-management skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Possess ambition and an optimistic attitude
