Job Summary:
The Associate Counsel will provide legal services and support to the company and its affiliates in a wide array of areas including contracts, labor and employment law, compliance, entity formation and governance, intellectual property, and international business.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Implements the company’s legal strategy to promote and protect the organization’s business interests
Facilitates the delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish organizational goals, strategies, and priorities
Provides pragmatic, focused legal counsel on transactional matters, interpretation of contracts, applicable laws, rules, and policies
Researches and analyzes complex legal issues relating to labor and employment laws
Advises operating business managers on various matters such as legal rights, and new and existing laws
Participates in the definition and development of corporate policies, procedures and programs and provide continuing counsel and guidance on legal matters
Performs other duties as assigned

A strong sense of confidentiality and integrity
Education and Experience:
Minimum of three to five years of comparable law firm and/or in-house experience
Background in corporate law (contract law, transactional law, employment and labor law)
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.
S.
law school with strong academic credentials
