We offer a complete benefits package and opportunities for your continued growth and development! Summary: The Grant Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with all grant requirements and regulations within the organization.
This role involves developing and implementing processes to monitor and track grant activities, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with various departments to ensure adherence to grant guidelines.
The Grant Compliance Manager should be able to work collaboratively with various departments, possess a strong understanding of the financial and programmatic aspects of grants, and stay abreast of changes in regulations affecting grant compliance.
In concert with and through their grant compliance work, the successful candidate will actively support our vision to develop sustainable solutions that build, connect, and improve our World.
What you’ll be contributing: Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Coordinate with contractors, plant operations, and project management regarding grant-related work.
Verifies compliance with the contracted and allocated resources by the contractors.
Develops detailed project schedules and work plans for grant deliverables.
Collaborate with program managers, finance, and other relevant departments to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
Develop and implement systems to monitor grant compliance throughout the grant lifecycle.
Regularly review grant agreements, guidelines, and regulations to ensure understanding and adherence.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all grant-related activities.
Prepare, vet, and submit required reports to funding agencies in a timely manner.
Provide training to relevant staff on grant compliance requirements.
Collaborate with the grant-writing team to review grant proposals for compliance with funding agency requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for grant compliance inquiries and audits.
Prepare for and facilitate internal and external audits related to grant compliance.
Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Ensure policies are communicated effectively and consistently implemented.
Participate in Ash Grove’s Sustainability Program development by leveraging our community benefits and environmental justice work To succeed in this position, you will need: Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
The minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s in marketing, finance, engineering, or other science field.
Preferred candidate will have grant and/or other regulatory compliance experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a business setting with a strong emphasis on business development, strategic planning, and business management Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in project development and management Travel requirements will vary and may include site visits, company meetings, and meetings with regulators/grant administrators.
Current estimate is up to 10%.
This position is a remote position [,or based out or our Overland Park, Kansas City, Kansas headquarters].
The employee will be responsible for providing a safe and reliable space for work.
Some travel will be required to include, but not limited to Ash Grove Cement plants which are regulated as mining sites.
