This gig is leading, making, and bringing others along for the ride.
You'll partner with strategy directors and brand leaders, and grow your team by challenging them and supporting them.
Responsibilities:
Inspire and lead a creative team to make great work
Provide feedback and direction to creative teams
Know and continue to pursue the latest knowledge of digital and social platforms
Build day-to-day relationships with other departments, teams, and clients
Be a go-to for your client team(s) and represent the FUEL department
This role will have direct reports
Client communication plan and campaign objectives are met.
Creative work is outstanding and on strategy.
Work is on target, on time, and within budget.
Account management morale on the account is positive, related to the creative relationship.
Client and agency management express confidence in leadership abilities.
Wise, responsible decision-making ability.
Teamwork is well represented in national and/or international award shows.
Client satisfaction ratings are high.
Qualifications:
Be based out of our Kansas City, MO office - local or willing to relocate with a relocation financial assistance package
Excellent portfolio showing mastery of social media and digital
A drive to make work that will break through the clutter and be highly effective
Passion for working with creative teams and bringing people together
Mentor more junior members of the team
Lead a piece of business with passion, vision, and maturity
Present to clients and sell work
Build relationships within Barkley's walls and with clients
Make amazing work (both as a leader and a doer)
