Production Supervisor

Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers in a manufacturing environment - Ensure production goals are met and quality standards are maintained - Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime - Train and develop production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their job duties effectively - Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality control, to resolve production issues and improve processes - Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe work environment for all employees - Maintain accurate production records and reports Requirements: - Mechanical knowledge and understanding of production equipment and processes - Experience in plastics extrusion, blow molding, or related manufacturing processes is highly desirable - Ability to perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications - Knowledge of machining operations is a plus - Strong math skills, including the ability to perform basic calculations and measurements - Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is advantageous - Ability to assemble components or products as needed Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
