The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking Summer Early Childhood Group Leader Assistants to be part of our innovative interdisciplinary team.
TGC is a Community Mental Health Center serving Leavenworth, Atchison, and Jefferson counties in Kansas.

Work shift of Monday through Thursday 10:30 am to 5:30 pm (No evenings for weekends)
Base hourly pay rate of $19.
69 to $22.
10 per hour, based on previous relevant experience
Responsibilities
Assist clients with promoting successful group interactions
Encourage and support clients’ engagement in group activities
Encourage and support clients’ efforts to effectively problem solve and interact with others
Serve as transportation attendant on transportation routes
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or GED required.
Must have completed one year of college course work in
the field of human services, or have one year of experience in the field of human services, or one
year combination of education and work experience in the field of human services
EXPERIENCE:
Required: at least 6 months experience working with individuals in the community.
Experience gained through practicum experience or volunteer work can be included.
Preferred: experience working with individuals with mental health issues.
