Job Summary and Qualifications The Manager of Integrated Applications leads the team responsible for the application support systems within an HCA Healthcare division.
This position ensures continuity and alignment of the organization’s strategic initiatives including those focused on patient experience, communication platforms, patient monitoring, interfaces, efficiency systems, and general application support.
Primary responsibilities include managing the Application Services team, coordinating support for applications across the division, and serving as the application support lead for the division.
This individual will assist in coordinating the resolution of application problem efforts, oversees the implementation of software releases, assists in developing training tools, and communicates changes to the appropriate audiences.
The Manager of Integrated Applications requires general understanding and knowledge across all division-level applications and focuses on standardization, optimization, and the use of best practices.
Work assignments are advanced/complex in nature and this role will conduct resource management by organizing and monitoring work completion for their team.
This resource will assist with annual budget directives for all applications supported by the application services team.
This individual needs to be ingrained in the operational support needs of the facilities and division to ensure all service level agreements are met and/or exceeded.
GENERAL DUTIES: · Responsible for technical and managerial leadership in establishing goals · Responsible for management of current and planned applications within an HCA Healthcare division · Meets with corporate, division, and facility-level leadership teams, as needed, to align strategy, services, implementation, and operational needs · Responsible for personnel management and development · Builds and maintains relationships with business operations, ITG leaders, and vendors · Participates in resource planning to meet the organizational needs and goals · Participates in the development of corporate and division-level application standards, policies, and procedures.
· Ensures that the design and use of applications adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards.
· Leads analysis for implementation of standard applications and interfaces · Manages internal service level agreements and ensures external service level agreements are met · Manages service management operational compliance and best practices within the team, maintaining awareness of and contributing to enterprise and IT service management goals.
· Assists the director in the development of the operational budget and project cost estimates for division and/or facilities · Proactively manages vendor support and maintenance agreements and renewals as assigned.
· Assists the director and/or leads development and presentation of business cases for new solutions as assigned.
· Ensures that service resources are assigned for the timely resolution of application incidents and requests · Creates an environment that encourages information sharing, team-based resolutions, cross-training, and process improvement within the team and across organizational boundaries · Grows the support capabilities for applications throughout the Division · Works with ITG, division, and facility resources to implement plans for application standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization · Promotes application security and patient confidentiality and helps ensure compliance · Coordinates the sharing of best practice models, and policies & procedures related to division applications · Participates in activities to improve departmental and organizational performance · Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors of ITG products, professional organizations, contract employees, and consultants.
· Builds strong relationships with application end users across the enterprise · Manages and participates in proactive facility rounding to ensure support needs are identified and addressed, interactions documented, and issues escalated as appropriate.

· Participates in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned.
