The Landscape Architect works closely with landscape designers and civil engineers to facilitate the development objectives of our clients.
This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule after 90 days working up to 3 days remote.

Essential Functions
Takes an active role in various tasks throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and conception through construction documents and construction administration
Interacts and collaborates with related internal and external disciplines: architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, electrical engineering, and planning
Conducts site inventory and analysis (i.
e.
, geographic location, soil, vegetation, rock features, drainage, and location of structures)
Builds upon this site understanding for preparation of environmental reports and design concepting
Demonstrates a keen attention to detail while preparing plan drawings, specifications, construction details and cost estimates for various project types
Demonstrated ability to review municipal codes and prepare due diligence for projects
Demonstrated ability to use rendering software and other tools to improve project deliverables
Meets with clients, engineers and building architects to understand the requirements of a project
Coordinates the arrangement of existing and proposed land features and structures
Analyzes environmental reports on land conditions, such as drainage
Demonstrated ability to use rendering software and other tools to improve project deliverables
Designs site storm water best management practices
Visits sites to understand project conditions
Leadership for other Landscape Designers

Experience
4+ years of prior related experience
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Adobe Acrobat Suite (e.
g.
, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
Comprehension and experience with grading and stormwater management
Experience with efficiently preparing 2D and 3D renderings
Experience preparing graphics for presentations

Education
Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field required
Licensure required
