Job Summary
ArchWell Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Market Medical Director to oversee and lead our team of Market Medical Directors across the eastern region.
This position will report to the President of the Medical Group and will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to Market Medical Directors to ensure high quality patient care and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with a passion for transforming healthcare delivery and improving patient outcomes.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement clinical programs that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Oversee the development and implementation of clinical quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including providers, payers, and community partners.
• Drive performance metrics and outcomes related to patient care, cost effectiveness, and patient satisfaction.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Market Medical Directors to support their professional growth and development.
Currently, Market Medical Directors are responsible for overseeing providers in their assigned markets and partnering with market level operations teams to ensure positive financial and quality outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in a primary care specialty.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical director role; preferably managing Medicare Advantage groups.
• Strong understanding of value-based care models and risk-based contracting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and people skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
