Unite Private Networks (UPN) is searching for a dynamic and experienced Network Acquisition Engineering Manager to work in a remote capacity.
Role Overview:
The Network Acquisition Engineering Manager is the technical lead for network acquisition projects including market expansion, lighting an existing market, fiber acquisitions/swaps, and other fiber related capital projects.
The Network Acquisition Engineering Manager supports the Director of Network Strategy in vetting, evaluating, structuring, decisioning, and executing various projects.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with network design, engineering, and/or KMZ mapping (GIS).
• Must have a working knowledge of one or more of the following Telecommunications engineering principles related to market deployment: hub selection, network planning, core/metro ring topology, route diversity, and/or IP routing/access.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Experience presenting to upper management preferred
• Proficient in KMZ mapping (GIS)
• Working knowledge of telecommunications engineering principles related to market deployment: hub selection, network planning, core and metro ring topology, route diversity, and IP routing and access
• Ability to drive projects with minimal supervision; ability to hold others accountable; operate with a sense of urgency
• Familiarity with Segra’s Network data in OcularIP, SegraOne, Change Manager preferred
