Assistant Director of Nursing/Unit Manager needed for a long term care facility located in Kansas City, MO!!!! Salary up to $75K annually Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing: Assist in supervision of nursing staff in the facility Ensuring there is adequate nursing staff, and that the staff's skills remain current Overseeing nursing employee conduct Being knowledgeable of incidents at the facility Requirements of the Assistant Director of Nursing: Currently licensed as RN or LPN in Missouri.
Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing school required.
Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superior project management and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated success in operational process improvement and performance management.
