Responsibilities:
Mentor and coach staff members to foster professional development.
Provide guidance and support to employees to enhance their skills
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Lead client communications and address client issues and concerns.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
Recommend and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Analyze and review employees’ tasks, identifying errors and providing sustainable corrective solutions.
Collaborate with team members to address their questions and concerns.
Identify training opportunities and collaborate with Human Resources to develop relevant content.
Build accounting reporting tools to track client data.
Identify opportunities for centralization, elimination, or automation of activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent practical experience, with a minimum of five years.
Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
Strong leadership and managerial skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
Strategic thinker with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions.
Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a wide variety of people.
