Under the direction of the Resident Intake Director, this position is responsible for general supervision and oversees all aspects of the data entry operations, which involves day to day planning, organizing, monitoring, and assessing all processes for ensuring quality and quantity of leads.
Assisting in generating standard process measurement reporting; and developing quality guidelines, training, and procedural manuals.
This role will have direct reports.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Serves as a liaison between data entry and other departments, assessing current and future data entry needs to be met.
Works closely with recruiting to interview, and train new data entry employees.
Organizes schedules, performs regular coaching and counseling and disciplines employees as needed.
Clearly communicates job expectations to data entry team, while monitoring, appraising, and reviewing that their performances are adhering to policies and procedures set by the department.
Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling.
Identify improvement opportunities and strategies to initiate new methods, procedures, and policies for the department.
Ability to understand and manage data - data hygiene, data flow across multiple tools/systems.
Other duties as assigned.
Education & Training Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent work experience.
1-3 years of progressive work experience in Medical Record Data Systems, Leadership, or Customer Service Leadership required.
3-5 years of progressive work experience in Data Entry, or Customer Service Leadership preferred.
Healthcare or insurance medical records experience preferred.
