Purpose of the Role/Role Overview: Manage all elements of a project from release to closeout, meeting milestone forecast dates on time and on budget, tracking all deliverables while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
General Duties / Key Responsibilities: This person would be responsible for all make ready projects.
This would include the foundational trackers for each project, based on the project needs and working with management, subcontractors, vendors, and clients on a regular basis.
Must coordinate aerial fielding activities and aerial data collection Must have working knowledge of pole loading software and manage pole loading engineering team Must understand aerial construction practices in accordance with NESC Guidelines Manage project execution including scope, schedule, cost, quality, communication and stakeholders Coordinate internal resources and external/third parties/vendors for the efficient and successful execution of projects Manage stakeholder communications, including interaction with clients, contractors, vendors and jurisdictional authorities Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget Data management: track all milestones with accuracy and update regularly throughout the project lifecycle Analyze the data input to create accurate internal and external reporting for all stakeholders Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Report and escalate to management as needed Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals Use and continually develop leadership skills Attend training as required to maintain proficiency Perform other related duties as assigned Required Job Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of aerial plant construction, project management experience.
Aerial Fielding experience.
Pole loading / Evaluation experience.
Make ready costs and evaluation experience.
Required Training/Licenses/Certifications: Associates Degree or greater preferred or equivalent 2 Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
Required Technical Experience: Proficient with Microsoft Office products and routine office equipment Knowledge of SharePoint a plus Knowledge of Sitetracker a plus Required Soft Skills Self-Starter Proven ability to organize time and tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent follow up and follow through skills required Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail Advanced written and verbal communication skills Positive attitude Professional and courteous interaction with internal and external partners Ability to work independently and with moderate supervision or as a part of a team Required Travel Local travel / Less than 25% of the time.
