IT Director to oversee IT Operations (Infrastructure, Security, Applications) in a critical access hospital.
You'll be responsible for managing and integrating the IT solutions as the organization modernizes and grows.
This includes the IT solutions and employees within the IT department, liaising with other departments to ascertain their technological requirements, and developing solutions that are aligned with our organization's objectives.
IT Director Responsibilities:
Overseeing all the IT Functions in a Critical Access Hospital
Developing, implementing, and evaluating IT projects in line with organizational objectives.
Working with the Leadership to optimize the EHR,
Participate and lead system selections.
Engaging the stakeholders to ensure the IT solutions are meeting their needs.
Liaising with other departments to determine and address their IT needs and requirements.
Managing and supervising employees in the IT department.
Ensuring the maintenance of current projects and technology systems.
Identifying vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement.
Proposing strategic solutions and recommending new systems and software.
Preparing financial budgets and performance reports.
Building and maintaining relationships with peers, executive staff, customers, external advisors and vendors.
Ensuring reported issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Job Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
Proof of continued education, such as IT management certifications such as PMI, and ITIL are desirable.
Management experience in an IT environment.
IT Experience in Hospital IT.
Experience with an EHR
Sound working knowledge of hospital IT operations, systems, and deployments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Epic experience a plus.
Onsite.
