The Salon Coordinator is responsible for driving sales revenue in the salon and spa.
This will be accomplished by booking salon professionals’ open time slots, offering services to clients on the retail floor, adding on services and rescheduling clients.
Our goal is to provide a rewarding and full-service experience for every client in our salon & spa.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Experience
Assist clients with the check-in process at the salon desk ensuring the highest level of client service
Responsible for engaging and assisting clients by educating on service offerings
Fill available openings in the salon schedule by offering additional services to clients in person and on the phone
Adopt the “never say No” philosophy to schedule appointments for all clients by offering additional date and time options to accommodate the client’s needs if a same day appointment is not available.
Handle complaint issues as they arise ensuring clients are completely satisfied with all services.
Leadership and Development
Build a professional relationship with the Salon Professionals and educate yourself on all services offered.
Partner with the Management team to develop the salon professionals (skill level, time updates to complete service in efficient time frame, selection of service offerings & any salon issues that arise).
Keep salon professionals on track and on time with all clients by supervising the scheduling of clients within the salon to ensure salon professionals maximize productivity to meet sales goals.
Recognize the accomplishments of salon professionals, including service revenue and customer count each week.
Daily Tasks & Responsibilities
Complete a Daily Plan of Action to fill available appointments on the salon schedule.
Adopt “ just one more” philosophy with each walk in or call in client by knowing openings needed to fill schedule.
Invite retail clients to experience a service as they are shopping on retail floor.
Keep salon pros updated on changes to their books.
Maintain and complete the Service Sales Plan each shift.
Make confirmation calls & suggest additional services.
Meeting service sales goals.
Conduct follow-up phone calls.
Present a professional appearance and maintain Beauty Brands grooming standards and dress code.

Minimum two years retail or service sales experience; prefer salon industry experience.
Excellent client service, communication and organization skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and utilize good judgment.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with management team and service providers.
Demonstrate leadership qualities.
Ability to work days, nights and/or weekends.
Proficient on computer.
