Job Title: Automotive Sales Consultant
Job Description:
As an automotive sales consultant, you will be responsible for assisting customers in the purchase of new and/or used vehicles.
Your primary duties will include:
1.
Customer Engagement: Greeting customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the vehicle selection process.
Building rapport with customers to establish trust and credibility.
2.
Product Knowledge: Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of various vehicle models, features, and specifications.
Providing accurate information about pricing, financing options, and warranties.
3.
Sales Process: Leading customers through the sales process from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery.
Conducting test drives, negotiating prices, and closing sales transactions.
4.
Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale.
Addressing customer concerns or questions promptly and professionally.
5.
Sales Targets: Meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas set by the dealership.
Proactively seeking out potential customers through cold calling, referrals, or other sales techniques.
6.
Administrative Tasks: Completing sales paperwork, including contracts, financing applications, and vehicle registration documents.
Ensuring accuracy and compliance with dealership policies and legal requirements.
7.
Follow-Up: Following up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Building long-term relationships with customers to generate referrals and promote customer loyalty.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive sales or retail sales preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of automotive products, features, and financing options.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Sales-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
