$450 / 3br - Three rooms available in historic NE- 10 min to downtown, River market (North East Kansas City)

Hello! We have one bedroom available in our historic Northeast home, 10 minutes from downtown and River Market! We’re charging $450 per room + a flat $135 for utilities which includes water, electricity, gas, lawn care, and pest control.
There are currently two male and one female roommates, we prefer there to be another female roommate.
We are especially interested in renting to creative folks who are community-oriented with common interests such as travel, social justice, music, arts, literature, and the environment.
Ideal candidates are professional, clean/tidy, have a stable work history, and respect others including neighbors from diverse backgrounds.
We’re NOT accepting tenants with pets.
More about the house: It’s a three-story home in the historic northeast neighborhood, next to Budd Park.
We're 10 minutes from downtown and River Market.
The neighborhood is in transition, which means it has all the benefits of a space that hasn’t been gentrified yet, as well as some of the rougher edges.
We highly recommend driving around the neighborhood and getting a feel for it before asking for a home tour.
The house has a nice front porch, fenced-in backyard, large dining room, living room, kitchen, one upstairs and one downstairs bathroom and a washer and dryer in the basement.
We’ve had new windows put in all the bedrooms and are renovating the sun porch attached to the smallest bedroom.
There are brand-new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen as well as flooring and ceiling.
The downstairs bathroom was built six years ago when we bought the house.

We are working with a local property manager (since we've now moved to TN) who will set up house showings etc.
