Summary
The Marketing Specialist on the Basys Marketing Team plays a crucial role in developing and executing content and marketing initiatives to promote products, services and overall brand.
All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, mission and vision while enhancing lead generation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, audience and client needs.
Analyze data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
Campaign Management: Plan, execute and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels, such as direct mail, digital and traditional advertising.
Content Creation: Develop engaging and persuasive content for marketing materials, including websites, emails, marketing campaigns, internal communication, newsletters and advertisements.
Event Planning: Coordinate and execute marketing events, such as trade shows and promotional activities.
Analytics and Reporting: Use analytics tools to track and measure the performance of marketing campaigns.
Prepare and present reports to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Additional Responsibilities
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and a unified brand image.
Budget Management: Manage marketing orders, invoices and agencies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.
Stay Updated: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, competitors and best practices in marketing.
Brand Management: Ensure brand consistency across all marketing efforts.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in marketing, with a focus on campaign management and content creation.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to assess campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
Creativity: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.
