Summary:
The Marketing Specialist provides support in planning, developing, managing, and analyzing various marketing campaigns and activities for CommunityAmerica Credit Union with specific focus on assigned consumer products and lines of business.
Responsible for assisting with marketing campaigns, content creation, event planning and management, and will work closely with the entire Marketing team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Create and execute marketing plans and projects for specific CommunityAmerica Credit Union lines of business which could include but is not limited to deposit products, consumer lending, insurance, College Planning, and Financial Well-being.
Partner with internal clients to understand line of business goals and objectives, assisting in identifying how Marketing can support in achieving those goals.
Manage marketing projects and activities from start to finish including ideation, project management, creative review, execution, and evaluation of results.
Tactics could include Direct mail, Email, Digital Marketing, social media, and events independently and/or in partnership with other marketing team members.
Assist in analyzing general marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.
) to help shape future marketing strategies.
Assist/coordinate in the production of company and client events including planning, logistics, onsite event management, setup and teardown, post event reporting, etc.
Work cross-functionally with other departments to manage delivery of marketing content to Credit Union teams, prospective members or clients, and partner organizations.
Collaborate with sales teams to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools and information for successful product promotion.
Conduct ongoing market and competitor research and follow industry trends (both Marketing and Financial industries)
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
Four (4) + years of experience in Marketing or communications in a professional service, preferably in a financial institution
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Fluency in Spanish, both spoken and written.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to project a high degree of professionalism and positive image of themselves and the credit union.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Demonstrated creativity and innovation in developing marketing materials and campaigns.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
Ability to speak and present information in small group settings.
Must have a valid driver’s license and able to operate and maintain assigned motor vehicle safely, independently, and reliably.
Must be able to be bonded.
