Buffing surface or face measures: 10 1/2" across its round surface.
It does run and work great.
I do NOT have a soft bonnet for it.
You will have to get your own.
Great grip handles on top surface and big red on off button on top as well.
Easy to use.
Easy to hang on to and keep it in place.
