Founded in Milan, Italy over 50 years ago, ILLCA is a leader in the design, development and manufacturing of shelters and outdoor cabinets for applications in telecommunications, railways, energy, aeronautics, and defense components.
ILLCA has opened a brand-new startup facility in Olathe, Kansas and is currently seeking a Brake Press Operator.
This position is flexible and can be filled as either full-time or part-time.
The Brake Press Operator is responsible for producing within tolerances.
The operator prepares, sets up, and adjusts brake press as required by product drawings and production schedules.
The Olathe, KS facility engineers and develops prototypes and custom pieces requiring a high degree of problem solving, creativity and flexibility.
This is NOT a production shop; This is an excellent place for more experienced professionals to grow and be challenged in their field.
Illca offers a beautiful, open workspace, including excellent HVAC, new equipment, and an opportunity to work either part time flexible or full time.
Responsibilities:
Read, understand, and execute products and projects using provided blueprints with high attention to detail.
Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
Assist the project manager as requested.
Qualifications:
Experience operating press brake with CNC back gauge required.
(ESA controller).
Experience selecting tooling required to produce parts to specs.
Comfortable producing parts within +-1 degree, +-.

2+ years in similar position.

citizenship required.
Proven experience working in manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with precision measuring equipment.
Forklift experience preferred or willing to learn.
Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
