Mechanisms Process Engineering is responsible for developing the manufacturing processes necessary for building major electromechanical assemblies, including training of production floor employees, management of work instructions, resolution of production issues and the development of tooling and fixtures required to meet product definition.
The position will require interfacing with multiple Subject Matter Experts.
Basic Qualification Needed to be Qualified for the Role:
US citizenship in order to obtain and maintain US Dept of Energy "Q" level security clearance.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a college or university with an ABET accredited engineering program, or equivalent technical degree (e.
g.
, Physics)

Miniature Assembly Manufacturing
Tooling/Fixturing Design and Development
Utilize 3D modeling software
Understanding of Greenbelt and Lean principles
Development of work instruction and interacting with production floor operators
