Assembler - Manufacturing

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities: Pulling, measuring, cutting, assembling metal & rubber material to customer specifications Preparing material for shipment Assisting in loading and unloading of commercial and customer trucks Basic shipping and receiving duties Learning how to read and develop the ability to interpret drawings and specifications Position requires self-motivated individual who can work independently but also performs well within teams or work groups Safety conscious with good housekeeping practices Other duties may be assigned within the scope of manufacturing facility operations Job Qualifications: 18+ years of age Must be legally eligible to work in the United States High School Diploma / GED Forklift experience required Assembly and welding experience a plus! Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and future random drug testing Ability to work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines Job Skills Competencies: Basic math skills to include accurate use of a tape measure Eagerness to learn new skills Accepting and following instructions from multiple supervisors Collaboration with team members Awareness of surroundings and basic occupational health and safety practices Flexibility and patience for adjusting to changing customer needs Positive attitude Physical Requirements: Physically able to safely and consistently lift and pull material up to 50 lbs Ability to work inside and outside of a warehouse with extreme temperature fluctuations
