Seamstress/Equine Tack Manufacturing

Responsibilities: - Operate sewing machines to fabricate horse tack, sheepskin products or other textile products - Read and interpret patterns, sketches, or sample tack/products to determine the specifications of the product - Select appropriate threads, and materials for each project - Measure and mark material to ensure accurate cutting and sewing - Sew tack or sheepskin products according to established standards and guidelines - Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications - Make adjustments or repairs to tack as needed Requirements: - Proven experience as a seamstress or in a similar role - Proficient in using sewing machines and other related tools and equipment - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity - Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment - Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks \*\*Equine knowledge helpful but not required\*\* -Full time or part time depending on applicant availability Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
