Bradken is looking for a *Capacity Planner* to join our team in *Atchison, Kansas*.
This position will be responsible for providing definite data to site management to complete operational and business objectives.
Key objectives include providing the site’s project management team, operations management, HRBP & site controller with the data those functions require to complete the site’s business objectives.
This position will partner with other functional areas as required to ensure operational activities are supported to deliver the overall business objectives, meeting product and customer requirements, while maintaining efficiencies in manufacturing.
They will also support the business’s overall objectives.
*Key Technical Criteria*
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Must be a US Person in order to perform inspection to restricted documents including ITAR and Export Control data
Experience:
* 3-5 years of experience in business IT/ERP systems, with a preference for UNIBIS and Synchro experience.
* 1-3 years of experience in a scheduling/capacity planner or logistics field.
* Experience in the implementation of software/systems such as Synchro, Epicor, etc.
* Experience in managing purchase orders, work orders and sales orders.
* Demonstrated experience in communicating with a team of people in varied roles.
* Demonstrated experience in managing production routes and customer/production data.
* People management experience.
* Demonstrated experience in managing production routes and customer/production data.
Skills and Knowledge:
* A technical mindset focused on continuous improvement.
* Able to collaborate effectively with others and communicate effectively.
* Proficiency in reporting writing within an ERP.
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
* Moderate proficiency in Excel.
* Understanding of logistics and scheduling.
