Qualifications and Skills:
• 2 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Valid driver’s license is required, CDL-A is a plus.
• Ability to work early morning and evening.
Diesel Mechanic’s Responsibilities:
• Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Knowledge of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems.
• Knowledge of engine diagnostic software.
• Conduct regular maintenance and service trucks.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Diagnose problems and plan repairs.
• Perform road-side service calls.
• Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks.
• Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
• Must have own basic hand tools.
• Specialty and larger tools will be provided.
