Irrigation Technician

```Overview: We are seeking an Irrigation Technician to join our team.
As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining the irrigation system for Swope Memorial Golf Course.
Duties: - Maintain irrigation system, including sprinklers, valves, and controllers - Inspect and troubleshoot irrigation system to identify issues and make necessary repairs - Perform regular maintenance tasks such as adjusting sprinkler heads, cleaning filters, and replacing damaged components Experience: - Previous experience in landscape maintenance or irrigation installation is preferred - Knowledge of hand tools and power tools commonly used in irrigation work - Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required - Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing irrigation system components - Familiarity with lawn care practices and plant watering requirements - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve irrigation system issues Swope Memorial Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal golf course located in Swope Park.
The facility is owned by the City of Kansas City and managed by Orion Management Solutions.
