Project Engineer

*About the job* Full-time, on-site Concorp is hiring a Project Engineer to its versatile team.
Job Responsibilities: * Understand scopes of work and purchase order agreements * Assist Project Manager with RFIs and bid proposals.
* Maintain job documents and requirements while staying organized and efficient.
* Assist with managing change orders and cost estimating.
* Understand steel fabrication and mechanical process systems (ie; conveyors, systems integration, material handling, equipment modification and repair, robots).
* Procure necessary materials and equipment for various jobs.
* Assist team in promoting job site safety, encouraging safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards immediately.
* Ensure project responsibilities are carried out on time and within budget.
* Attend project meetings and take detailed notes.
* Develop and maintain positive client/consultant/internal relationships.
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements: * Excellent communication skills * Project and client management skills * Desire to trouble shoot and solve problems customers may encounter * Competence in Microsoft Office and Outlook * Reliable transportation to office and job sites Preferred: * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction or related field or have equivalent experience in a project engineering role * Well-versed in the industrial construction/mechanical industry (not HVAC) * Experience in 3-D modeling and Inventor * Experience detailing drawings * Established client list or industry contacts, especially in the automotive sector Benefits: * Competitive pay * Paid vacation * Health insurance assistance * Retirement matching * Annual bonus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.
