LDAR Technician

*This position is going to be FULL TIME and we are looking to have someone start their first day ASAP.
* \*\* Training is provided if you do not have experience.
\*\* *Job Overview:* The LDAR Technician will perform leak detection and repair (LDAR).
Will perform a variety of applicable data collection and inspection techniques.
Develops and maintains records.
Work often involves analyzers, instrumentation and equipment for gathering data for inspection of oil and gas related piping and equipment.
APTIM is willing to train qualified candidates *Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:* * Perform LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) inspections following policies and procedures tasks * Daily Analyzer calibration.
* Quarterly certification of analyzers.
* Communication with client and supervisor * Maintain and complete monitoring schedules.
* Repair leaking components.
* Generate work requests and follow-up on LDAR maintenance repairs.
* Maintain record keeping on monitoring and repairs.
* Maintain identification of LDAR components and applicability reviews.
*Basic Qualifications:* * Will perform work in adverse weather conditions on the field (Work in hot/cold environments, inclement weather) * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

ladders and platforms * Must have a valid Driver's License * Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical * Technical /Mechanical aptitude * Willing to train successful candiate Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.
