*Maintenance Person*
*Overview*
We are currently hiring for a Maintenance Person to help manage the general building maintenance and landscaping for three locations.
Bright Skies Childcare has sites in Belton, MO and Topeka, KS.
House of Compassion is in Grandview, MO.
The work hours are flexible, but some tasks may need to be completed outside of business hours (M-F 7a-6p) for safety reasons, due to the presence of children on-site.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who enjoys being hands-on and has general property maintenance expertise, who can commute between the south KCMO metro area and Topeka, KS (vehicle provided for commute).

*Responsibilities:*
*The responsibilities of the Maintenance Person are as follows: *
*Troubleshoot and perform all minor repairs to the buildings, including plumbing, painting, carpentry and electrical.
Installation of new appliances as needed.
Landscaping and property maintenance.

* Ensure requested service orders are completed on a timely basis.
* Assist in maintaining the exterior of the property to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times.
* Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.
* Additional duties as assigned.
*Required Skills and Experience:*
*High school diploma or equivalent is required.
*
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
* Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies.
* Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.
00 - $25.
00 per hour
