Digital Machine Operator
YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
Varsity Spirit, A Varsity Achievement Brand, is looking to hire Digital Press Operators.
As a member of the Herff Jones Kansas City Yearbook team, you will be responsible for printing digital signatures on a digital press for the Key Yearbook Program.
WHAT YOU’LL DO ON A DAILY BASIS:
Operate and maintain multiple pieces of equipment.
Complete scheduled maintenance on operating equipment during shift.
Meet daily production quotas.
Adhere to all safety protocols.
Check for quality.
Scan out jobs through YBS and sign-out sheet.
Bind variable data jobs.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience running manufacturing equipment, preferably printing and binding experience (sewer, saddle stitcher, perfect binder, 3-knife).
Ability to read and interpret documents such as tracking sheets, order confirmation sheets and work orders.
Experience with computers, printers, Excel.
