The Role
Oversee and participate in all aspects of project cost accounting and financial reporting for telecommunication construction projects
Review project related financial reports to ensure accurate and timely invoicing to clients, ensure billing and reporting deadlines are met
Create invoices using our internal accounting software
Create project trackers
Be the day-to-day back office financial operational owner to assigned key clients or projects
Audit, review, and track POs, invoices, and payment applications
Prepare, review and analyze financial statements and project cost reports for telecommunication construction projects
Coordinate with project teams to ensure all financial data is entered accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and subcontractors
Maintain project-related records
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures, as well as client regulations
Perform a weekly review of all open projects and investigates and resolves issues
Prepares final reconciliation and closures of completed projects
Collaborate with Project Coordinators to resolve any client financial issues; field and respond to questions and issues related to the project/client financials
Assist with project audits as required
Maintain and foster good client and subcontractor relationships
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
2+ years of accounting, invoicing, billing, project accounting and/or related experience required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance a plus
Prior P2 experience a plus
Previous telecommunications and construction experience a plus
Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
Advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical skills, ability to identify and resolve issues quickly

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to be flexible and adjust to changes
