Production Associate/Shipping Receiving

SpecChem, LLC supplies and services the concrete distributor network with quality construction chemicals that provide performance and value to the industry.
We are seeking an intelligent, energetic candidate for a full-time Production Associate/Shipping Receiving position in our Kansas City, KS facility.
This is a hybrid role that will serve as the primary POC for Shipping/Receiving at the warehouse on Sunshine avenue, as well as a production associate at Richmond Avenue.
The ideal candidate for this position has outstanding people and problem-solving skills, thinks innovatively, and constantly strives for excellence and improvement.
Responsibilities: Package and stack finished manufactured product.
Drive forklift.
Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
Move waste from assembly line to dumpsters.
Operate within standard operating procedures.
Quality control – ensure that no damaged product is sent out and no damaged raw material accepted in.
Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
Stage finished product for loading.
Assist in other areas as needed.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently.
Ability to operate a forklift, or commitment to learn.
Quick learner, team player.
Excellent communication skills.
Detail oriented and quality minded.
Able to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment.
Have a passion for excellence – do great work.
Prior experience in manufacturing is a plus.
Ability to pass a background check, pre-employment physical exam, and drug screen.
